Airplay allows you to display your iPhone screen on TV
Here are the steps to follow in order to display your iPhone screen on TV:
- Connect your iPhone as well as your Apple TV to a single WiFi network
- On your iPhone device, launch the content you want to display on your TV screen
- Tap the icon Airplay (a TV with a triangle). If you want to display multimedia content such as photos or videos from the application Photos, you will first have to tap on the share icon before tapping on the icon. Airplay
- Select your Apple TV
It will of course be possible to stop the display of your iPhone screen on the TV at any time, by pressing the icon Airplay in the app used.
Broadcast your iPhone's content on the TV screen using screen mirroring
Here are the steps to follow in order to display the content of your iPhone on the TV screen using the screen mirroring of your iPhone:
- Connect your iPhone as well as your Apple TV to a single WiFi network
- Open the Control Center menu and swipe down on your iPhone device screen from the top right corner of the screen (on recent iPhone devices) or swipe up from the bottom of the screen on models prior to iPhone 11
- Press the screen mirroring icon (two squares embedded in each other)
- Choose your Apple TV
- Enter your access code
You can end your iPhone screen from showing on TV at any time by pressing Do not copy anymore, in the control center.
